APPROVAL OF THE ADDENDUM TO THE 2008-2009 INTER-INSTITUTIONAL ARTICULATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE SCHOOL BOARD OF SARASOTA COUNTY AND THE MANATEE COMMUNITY COLLEGE TO PROVIDE THE COLLEGE PLACEMENT TEST TO ELIGIBLE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Description
Florida's Expanded Postsecondary Readiness Assessment (EPRA) project addresses the Senate Bill 1908 requirement to expand the college and career readiness assessment of high schools students in order to improve access to postsecondary education and to extend opportunities for postsecondary readiness remediation to students before graduation. Through this addendum, both parties agree to cooperatively implement EPRA by expanding the delivery of the College Placement Test (CPT) to eligible eleventh grade high school students.
Recommendation
That the ERPA Addendum to the 2008-09 articulation agreement with Manatee Community College be approved as presented.
